Latest Zara Perfume Reviews of Jérôme Epinette’s Best Creations

It was one of those nights when sleep evaded me, and as I lay wide awake, the internet became my playground. That’s when I came across something irresistible, Zara perfumes crafted by none other than Jérôme Epinette, the genius nose behind many Byredo creations, including my recent favorite, Sundazed. One thing led to another, and before I knew it, my cart was full of his creations for Zara. It was an impulse buy in the early hours of the morning, but as I discovered later, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Now, let me take you through each scent, how it made me feel, and what it reminded me of from the perfume world I’ve come to love.

Zara Sunlight Bouquet

Sunlight Bouquet was the first scent I reached for when the package arrived. The name made me hopeful for a bright, uplifting experience, and the fragrance certainly lived up to it. The citrusy top notes, paired with a subtle peppery bite, instantly refreshed my senses, like a crisp morning walk. Then, the floral heart of rhubarb and pink rose took over, bringing a soft, feminine touch. It’s in the dry down, though, where it turns creamy with tonka bean and vanilla cream, anchored by patchouli and marine notes. It’s light yet sophisticated, perfect for those days when you want to feel effortlessly fresh.

Comparable scent: It has the fruity-floral sweetness of Tom Ford’s Bitter Peach, but with an added aquatic freshness that might remind you of Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. It’s versatile enough for any season but particularly shines in spring and summer.

Zara Bold Blossom

I wasn’t prepared to fall for Bold Blossom as hard as I did, but here we are. It opens with a spicy warmth from saffron and pink pepper, followed by a burst of juicy tangerine that gives it an almost exotic flair. The heart of rose, raspberry, and frankincense takes things in a more elegant direction, with a resinous, smoky depth that feels incredibly luxurious for a Zara scent. The base is where it really won me over, patchouli, black amber, and tonka bean create a warm, velvety finish that lingers on the skin for hours. This scent is bold, yet it has an underlying softness that makes it perfect for cooler evenings.

Comparable scent: Fans of Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Baccarat Rouge 540 will recognize the amber and saffron mix here, while the fruity sweetness of raspberry and rose evokes Mancera’s Roses Vanille. It’s that perfect blend of spicy, floral, and resinous warmth.

Zara Moonlight Whispers Intense

The name alone, Moonlight Whispers Intense, had me intrigued, and it did not disappoint. The opening is like dessert in a bottle, with caramelized pistachio taking center stage. But don’t be fooled, this isn’t overly sugary. The almond cream and violet balance out the sweetness, creating a creamy, almost nutty profile. As it settles, the vanilla and sandalwood come through, making it the coziest, most comforting fragrance in the collection. I couldn’t help but imagine wearing this on a crisp evening, wrapped in a blanket by a fire.

Comparable scent: Think of Kayali’s Yum Pistachio Gelato, but with a more refined, sophisticated edge. It’s sweet, nutty, and creamy without being cloying, a gourmand dream for those who love comforting, cozy fragrances.

Zara Eternal Devotion

There’s something about Eternal Devotion that just screams elegance. From the first spritz, the combination of blackcurrant, pink pepper, and bergamot gives it an uplifting, slightly spicy edge. But then it evolves into something much more luxurious, the rose and lychee in the heart add a floral-fruity dimension, with guava and magnolia offering a tropical twist. As it dries down, patchouli, ambroxan, sugar, and musk come into play, leaving behind a soft, musky sweetness that makes you feel effortlessly chic.

Comparable scent: If you love Lancôme’s La Vie Est Belle or YSL Mon Paris, you’ll appreciate the blend of blackcurrant, florals, and sweet base notes here. It’s sophisticated, yet fun, making it perfect for both daytime and evening wear.

Zara Nocturnal Velvet

The name Nocturnal Velvet alone gives off dark, sensual vibes, and that’s exactly what this fragrance delivers. The strawberry, peony, and pink pepper opening is fresh and fruity, but it quickly takes on a richer tone with the heart notes of raspberry, plum, jasmine, and gardenia. These fruits and florals create a lush, almost intoxicating experience, like a stroll through a garden under the stars. And then the base, musk, solar notes, and ambroxan, wraps everything in a warm, velvety embrace. It’s alluring without being overpowering, making it perfect for evening wear.

Comparable scent: This fragrance has the richness of Marc Jacobs Decadence with the fruity-floral playfulness of Prada Candy. It’s sensual, mysterious, and perfect for a night out.

In the early hours of that sleepless night, I didn’t realize how much these fragrances would end up impacting my routine. Each one offers something unique, from the bright and refreshing Sunlight Bouquet to the warm, cozy embrace of Moonlight Whispers Intense. What ties them together is Jérôme Epinette’s unmistakable craftsmanship, he manages to balance accessibility with the elegance you’d expect from much pricier brands. If you’re looking for affordable luxury with depth and personality, these Zara fragrances deliver in every way.

This Zara haul turned out to be a treasure trove of versatile, well-crafted fragrances. Whether you’re into fruity-florals, rich gourmands, or sensual evening scents, there’s something here for everyone. From the sunny charm of Sunlight Bouquet to the mysterious allure of Nocturnal Velvet, these perfumes offer a bit of luxury without breaking the bank, perfect for any perfume lover looking to expand their collection.
