Learn How to Master the Perfect Smoky Eye

A smoky eye doesn’t need to be dark, heavy, or dramatic. The French version is softer, more wearable, and beautifully flattering at any age. It’s about blending, restraint, and the right products.

Here’s how we build it, using a few staples from Gee Beauty:

Start with a neutral eyeshadow palette

Apply the lightest shades from the Soft Signature Eyes Palette across the lid and into the crease. The formula is richly pigmented and blends with minimal effort.

Add depth at the lash line

Use the deeper tones along the upper and lower lash line. Concentrate the color near the lashes and soften it upward using a small brush. This gives definition without harsh edges.

Line and smudge

Apply Smooth Eye Define Pencil in Cocoa Mocha Sienna or Teddy Love Adorn along the lash line. Smudge gently with your fingertip before it sets. The pencil glides on easily and stays in place. We are huge eye liner users and we particularly love these colors and formula.

Finish with mascara

Apply the Multi Mascara in Brown or Black to both top and bottom lashes. It adds lift and definition without clumping. The brown tone keeps the look soft and natural.

This is an easy, flattering way to wear eye makeup with elegance and confidence. Aging does not mean stepping back from eye color, it means knowing what works and choosing products that do their job well.
