Editor’s Picks: The Best Staud Pieces for Pre-Fall

Over the years, I’ve gotten clear on what feels good on my body, what flatters, what moves well, what makes people pause to ask, “Where did you get that?” My style is simple, refined, a little sexy at times, and always polished. I like structure, texture, and a sense of ease.

Staud is usually a label you’ll spot on women in their 20s and 30s, but that doesn’t mean it’s off-limits. This season, I found a selection of pieces that feel fully grown in the best way. These are well-made, versatile, and quietly confident.

I shop more mindfully now. Everything I buy needs to be wearable, versatile, and elevated without being overdone. This fall edit checks those boxes.

The Nadia Mini Dress is clean and sharp, easy to dress up or down. The Ellison Dress has slouchy elegance with an elongating cut. Delfina, in silk dune, offers understated drama with a fluid, neutral shape. Wally flat boots are sculptural but practical. The Hendrix boots are tall and strong, anchoring softer silhouettes.

I added the Natalie suede jacket for its rich, wear-everywhere feel. The Gus relaxed jeans in indigo give polish without trying too hard, while the Teddy straight jeans bring a high-rise shape I can actually move in. The Harlow buckle suede shoulder bag is tactile and timeless, and the large Maude carryall fits both my laptop and my lip gloss without looking bulky.

The Craftsman sweater in black is one of those pieces I can throw on with anything. The Durand silk cami is light, feminine, and perfect under a jacket or on its own.

This is how I build a wardrobe now. It’s thoughtful, refined, and still has room for a little glamour. If you’re curating your own version of grown-up style, you might find something to love here.
