The Clean Girl Perfume Edit: Nine Scents With Quiet Presence

The clean perfume trend is everywhere, but most of what rises to the surface feels too thin or too soapy. I wanted to look at the idea differently. What does a clean scent feel like when it is designed for women who want softness with character and good performance on skin.

I filmed a new YouTube video where I walk through nine perfumes from my own collection that fit this idea. These are fragrances that read fresh and elegant, but still carry texture, mood and good wear time.

The list ranges from Parfums de Marly Valaya and Régalien EFIL to Le Labo’s Another 13. We revisit Cashmere Mist by Donna Karan, a perfume I wore during my Los Angeles years that still feels tender and feminine. There is Glossier You Rêve, Trend by Czar, Angel Dust by Fugazzi, and Régalien Ceremony for anyone who loves creamy white florals.

Each perfume brings a different interpretation of clean. Some lean into rose and musk. Others play with soft woods, citrus or skin accords.
