Proper by Amanda Kloots: A Full Review + Personalized Use Cases

I tried the entire lineup, here’s how it slipped into my days, and why I sent half of it to my daughter.

Proper, the wellness line from Amanda Kloots, caught my eye because of its simplicity. Instead of one oversized blend that promises everything, the powders are broken into color-coded rituals: Greens for balance, Pinks for digestion, Oranges for immunity, Yellows for energy, Corals for glow, Purples for antioxidants.

A smiling woman with long blonde hair wearing a white outfit stretches her arms up in celebration against a bright background.

When the brand sent me the full lineup, I decided to live with them. Not a quick taste test, but a week of actually weaving them into mornings, workouts, travel days, and late afternoons. What I found was a collection that doesn’t ask for devotion, it just slips in where you need it.

The Powders in My Routine

Green apple flavored superfood powder container labeled 'The Greens Daily Boost' from Proper, featuring organic wheat grass, spirulina, and kale.

The Greens Daily Boost → Green apple flavor; vitamins, minerals, fiber, probiotics, enzymes; supports overall wellness and digestion. The Greens became my morning starter, stirred into water before coffee. The green-apple flavor is crisp enough to feel like a reset, and I noticed digestion felt steadier on the days I didn’t skip it.

Container of Proper wellness powder labeled 'The Pinks: Digestion + Bloat Relief' in a vibrant pink color, displaying its strawberry pomegranate flavor and nutritional benefits.

The Pinks Digestion + Bloat Relief → Strawberry pomegranate flavor; probiotics, enzymes, bromelain, cinnamon bark; eases bloating and supports digestion. The Pinks were my after-dinner rescue. Travel and restaurant meals usually leave me feeling heavy; a glass of strawberry-pomegranate Pink powder was surprisingly soothing.

Container of Proper's Oranges Immune Support with orange tangerine flavor, showcasing a vibrant orange design and nutritional information.

The Oranges Immune Support → Orange tangerine flavor; vitamin C, zinc, elderberry, echinacea; immune defense especially during travel or cold season. The Oranges turned into my “before the airport” ritual. Vitamin C, zinc, elderberry, echinacea, all in a tangerine glass. I took it before a recent flight and packed the stick packs in my carry-on.

Container of Proper 'The Yellows' Metabolism + Energy Boost superfood powder, featuring a bright yellow design and labeled pineapple mango flavor.

The Yellows Metabolism + Energy → Pineapple mango flavor; 100 mg caffeine, B vitamins, CoQ10; supports energy, focus, and metabolism. The Yellows were reserved for days that asked for more of me. They have 100 mg caffeine (a small coffee’s worth) and taste like pineapple mango. I used them before filming sessions, the way you’d put on red lipstick: not daily, but deliberate.

Container of Proper Daily Glow superfood powder in peach flavor, highlighting its nutrient-dense ingredients like collagen peptides and hyaluronic acid.

The Corals Daily Glow → Peach flavor; collagen, hyaluronic acid, omegas, MSM; beauty and gut support. The Corals are the ones I didn’t expect to love, but I kept returning to them. Collagen, hyaluronic acid, omegas, a peach-flavored glass that felt like a small luxury at the end of the day.

Container of Proper's The Purples Enhanced Antioxidant Support superfood powder, featuring a rich maroon color with descriptive text about its acai berry flavor and nutrient benefits.

The Purples Antioxidant Support → Acai berry flavor; berry blend, acai, vitamin C; antioxidant defense and stress support. The Purples became a late-afternoon ritual. The acai-berry antioxidants feel like a pause, especially on stressful days when I wanted to close the laptop with something restorative.

A container of Proper's Calming Aid superfood powder in lavender lemonade flavor, featuring a lavender-colored design with the brand name and product details prominently displayed.

The Lavenders Calming Aid → Lavender lemonade flavor; magnesium, GABA, L-theanine, reishi, ashwagandha, vitamin D₃, lavender flower; supports relaxation, stress relief, and calm digestion. The Lavenders were the soft landing. A glass in the evening that eased me out of overdrive, less about sleep, more about shifting into quiet.

Where They Traveled

I ended up sending The Yellows and The Greens to my daughter, who is an athlete in college. She likes things simple and portable. She reported back that The Yellows gave her a clean pre-practice lift without the crash she gets from energy drinks.

For myself, I’ve kept The Corals in my own rotation, skin health matters more to me in my 50s than it ever did in my 20s. And The Oranges are now a non-negotiable before travel; I’ve already tucked a few into my passport wallet for the next trip.

Proper is like a set of well-chosen accessories: a green-apple baseline, a peach glow, a tangerine shield. The value lies in the way you rotate them, not in piling them up.

For me, that means The Greens most mornings, The Corals when I want something restorative, The Oranges in my suitcase, and The Yellows mailed off to my daughter who needs them more than I do. That’s the beauty of this line: each powder finds its place.

That’s where Proper has landed for me. What about you, do you use supplements, or would you try these?
